How to play Ghost Run
Score as many points as you can before losing your three lives. Power-ups let you chase the ghosts for bonus points. There is no gameplay timer. When Ghost Run is featured, its play link enters the weekly championship; otherwise, play for your all-time best.
Tips for your next run
- Watch the next junction and leave yourself an escape route.
- Save a nearby power-up for when the ghosts close in.
- Clear the remaining dots to move on to the next maze.
How ghost chains change your score
An ordinary dot is worth 10 points. A power-up adds 50 and temporarily lets you catch the ghosts. During that power-up, the first ghost is worth 200 points, the second 400, the third 800 and the fourth 1,600.
For example, catch two ghosts during one power-up and you earn 600 points from those captures. Catch one, collect a new power-up, then catch another and you earn 400 from the captures instead. The new power-up starts the chain again. Those totals exclude dots and the power-ups themselves.
That gives you a reason to watch where the ghosts are before collecting a power-up. Two nearby ghosts offer a better scoring opportunity than one far down a corridor. Keep an escape route in mind: the power-up is temporary, and chasing a bonus can cost a life when it wears off.
